GAMEDAY
The Tennessee State University women’s basketball team will return to action on Thursday, Dec.12 at Arizona. Game time for the road contest is set for 6:30 p.m.MT/7:30 p.m. CT. in the McKale Center.

Tennessee State won its season opener but has dropped six straight since then. TSU is 1-6 on the season.

Down the stretch, however, TSU could not come up with the buckets it needed to close the gap. Jazmine Young scored a career-high 19 points to lead TSU while Jaden Wrightsell also registered a career-high of 18 points.

ABOUT THE OPPONENT
No. 18 Arizona is off to a 9-0 start this season. Aari McDonald leads the team in scoring with 20.1 ppg while Cate Reese (14.3 ppg) is the second leading scorer. As a team, Arizona averages 74.9 points per game. The Wildcats are shooting 48.2 percent from the field and 35.2 percent from three-point range.
