GAMEDAY
After four consecutive road games, the Tennessee State University women’s basketball team will return home on Thursday for a matchup against UT Martin. Game time is set for 5:30 p.m. in the Gentry Center.

THE LADY TIGERS AT A GLANCE
Tennessee State is coming off a 65-61 win over Murray State Saturday evening in the CFSB Center. The victory snapped a four-game losing skid and was the Lady Tigers’ first road win of the season.

Sophomore Taylor Roberts, who has missed the last five games, leads TSU in scoring with 14.3 points per game while redshirt senior Tia Wooten is averaging 12.2 ppg. Cebria Outlow (7.8 ppg) is the team’s third leading scorer while freshman Terrysha Banner (7.2 ppg) rounds out the top scorers. Wooten (7.3rpg) and Jaden Wrightsell (7.0 rpg) lead TSU in rebounding.

As a team, TSU is averaging 58.0 ppg while shooting 31.3 percent from the field, including 21.1 percent from three-point range and 70.5 percent from the free-throw line. TSU is ranked first in the OVC in offensive rebounds (15.9) and fifth in free-throw percentage (.705). 

ABOUT THE OPPONENT
UT Martin (14-5, 6-2 OVC) is coming off a 68-55 win over SIUE on Saturday. The Skyhawks average 82.1 points per game while shooting 43.0 percent from the field. UTM is led in scoring by Chelsey Perry (12.6 ppg), Emanye Robertson (10.5 ppg) and Damiah Griffin (9.5 ppg).

SERIES INFORMATION
Tennessee State will face UT Martin for the 63rd time in the series history with the Skyhawks holding a 33-29 lead. UTM claimed last year’s meeting, 80-68, in Skyhawk Arena.
