My TSU Experience: Olivia Jones

Olivia Jones finished a stellar collegiate career this past season. She made an impact in a short time at TSU. She averaged 10.6 points and 6.6 rebounds per game while shooting 46.4 percent from the field. The Murfreesboro, Tenn., native averaged the second most steals on the team. 

She graduated from TSU in May with a Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences. 

She shared her experience with

A: I loved getting to know about my afro-centric self

TSUTigers: What do you love most about TSU?

A:  I love how close everyone is to one another

TSUTigers: What will you miss most about TSU?

A: My professors and teammates   

TSUTigers: What is your most memorable moment in your sport at TSU?

A: Playing in my first game as a Lady Tiger.

A: The Homecoming activities 

TSUTigers: What are some accomplishments/goals that you reached at TSU?

A: Being on the Dean’s List

A: Yes, Missy and Ross

TSUTigers: What advice would you give to incoming freshman?

A:  Find a group of friends who are positive influences

TSUTigers: What was your most challenging class at TSU?

A: Police Administration

A: Mrs. Bailey

A: Playing overseas

A: Through women’s basketball

A: I have learned about my inner self and to accept it
