NASHVILLE --- It is Homecoming week on the campus of Tennessee State University and while the city is buzzing, the Lady Tigers have remained focused on getting ready for the upcoming season.
TSU practiced off site on Wednesday night but the team carried the same intensity from previous workouts over to the Metro Parks Facility.
The Lady Tigers focused a number of fundamental drills and emphasized ball handling, passing and shooting.
The team took advantage of the six goals located in the gym and ran through a number of shooting drills.
During the second half of practice, there was a lot of time spent on offensive sets.
Tennessee State will return to practice on Friday morning before hosting a breakfast for Former Lady Tigers and other women’s basketball supporters Saturday morning after the Homecoming parade.
