GAMEDAY
The Tennessee State University women’s basketball team will return to action on Tuesday, Dec. 1 against Lane College. Prior to the game, TSU will have a ceremony in which the 2015 OVC Champions will receive their rings and the Championship banners will be revealed. Game time is set for 6 p.m. in the Gentry Center.

THE LADY TIGERS AT A GLANCE
Tennessee State has won two straight contests and improved to 3-3 overall after wins over Texas Southern and North Alabama in the Teresa Phillips Thanksgiving Classic.

TSU has three players averaging double-digits in scoring led by junior Jayda Johnson’s 13.2 points per game. Junior I’mani Davis (13.0 ppg) and senior Brianna Lawrence (10.7 ppg) round out the top three scorers for TSU. These three upperclassmen are also the team’s leading rebounders.

As a team, TSU is averaging 62.2 points per game and shooting 32.5 percent from the field, including 28.6 from beyond the arc and 63.6 percent from the free-throw line.

The Lady Tigers are led by fourth year head coach and Hall of Famer, Larry Joe Inman.

LAST TIME OUT
Tennessee State won its second straight after defeating North Alabama on day two of the Teresa Phillips Thanksgiving Classic on Sunday. TSU claimed the victory, 58-40, in the Gentry Center. Jayda Johnson recorded a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds while I’mani Davis also notched a double-double (10 pts, 11 reb). Brianna Lawrence and Diamond Beatty turned in 12 points each. Lawrence also registered a game-high eight steals. Johnson and Davis were named to the All-Tournament team while Johnson garnered MVP accolades.

ABOUT LANE COLLEGE
The Dragons of Lane College (0-5) are looking for their first win of the season. Lane College is most recently coming off a close, 56-55, loss to Christian Brothers in Jackson, Tenn. Tashara Jones led with a team-high 19 points followed by Shadae Nollen who finished with nine.
