NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee State’s Chelsea Hudson was named to College Sports Madness’s 2014-15 Ohio Valley Preseason All-Conference Team, on Thursday.
The senior was the only Lady Tiger selected to the publication’s First Team after a year in which she led TSU in points per game (15.4) and rebounds (8.4).
Hudson was Tennessee State’s leading scorer in 15 of the team’s 30 contests and its leading rebounder in 20. She also recorded nine double-doubles through the course of the year.
The Midland, Texas native also got to the free-throw line a staggering 228 times while also topping her team with 14 blocks.

Hudson and the rest of the Lady Tigers will open the season Nov. 10 at home with an exhibition contest against Tennessee Temple.
