My TSU Experience with Simone Hopes
Simone Hopes was a member of the TSU women’s basketball team for four years. As a senior, she showed vast improvements in her game while emerging as one of the leaders on the floor.

The Houston, Texas native was the leading rebounder on the team while ranking 8th in the OVC in overall boards. She averaged a team second-best 11.2 points per game as a senior after only averaging 4.4 point per games through her first three seasons.

At this year’s athletics awards banquet, she took away one of the top honors as she was recognized as the Female Athlete of the Year.

She graduated from TSU with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry on May 11, 2013.
