My TSU Experience with Kesi Hess
Kesi Hess, a four-time letterwinner for the TSU women’s basketball team, emerged as one of the squad's leaders as a senior. She was the team’s top scorer with12.9 points per game while also leading TSU and the OVC in free-throw percentage. In addition, she led the team in steals as well as made three-pointers as a senior, knocking down 61 of TSU’s 120 triples.

She finished her career with 752 career points and 155 made threes. She was named to the 2013 All-OVC second team as well as the Lady Griz All-Tournament Team in Montana. She finished the season ranked in the Top 10 in three OVC categories while notching two Top 15 rankings in the league. She was recently recognized by the Nashville Civitan Club for good sportsmanship. Her play helped TSU record its first winning conference record since the 2008-09 season.

A native of Dublin, Ohio, Hess graduated on May 11 with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.

A: Tradition

A: Winning on senior night

TSUTigers: What is your most memorable non-basketball moment at TSU?

A: Freshmen Week

TSUTigers: How do you feel social networking played a role in this season?

A: Good. Good advertising for the games/players and keeping updates on away games!

TSUTigers: Do you have a favorite TSU fan/supporter? If so, who?

A: Ms.Pinkerton "Shoot it like ya want it!!"

TSUTigers: What advice would you give to incoming freshman?

A: Stay spiritually grounded! Work hard and don't give up!

TSUTigers: What was your most challenging class at TSU?

A: Any upper division accounting course

TSUTigers: Who was your favorite professor?

A: Mr. Daniel Powers (accounting principles)

TSUTigers: What organizations were you a part of outside of basketball?

A: Fellowship of Christian Athletes and My Sisters Keeper

A: Lee Brown (Sports Chaplin),Duvall Young, Avery Jones, and Jeremy Perry
