Women's Basketball to host Lady Tiger Play Day
Tuesday, June 9, 2009

Nashville --- The Tennessee State University women’s basketball team will host a Lady Tiger Play Day on Saturday, June 20 at the Gentry Center.

The Play Day is an opportunity for high school teams to play competitively with other teams from around the region.

“Some of the better teams from the state of Tennessee and Kentucky are scheduled to participate,” said TSU assistant coach David Midlick. “The teams get a chance to see how they stack up against other teams that they won’t see during their seasons.”

Each team will play at least three games in the one-day event as each game will feature two 20-minute halves.

The games will be held at the Gentry Center from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and are open for fans to come and watch. Admission is free.
