Nashville --- After averaging a double-double last week, junior forward Oby Okafor was selected as the Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Week.

Okafor averaged a double-double with 20.0 points and 10.0 rebounds as Tennessee State split it last two regular-season games. She had 21 points and 10 boards for her 10th double-double of the season against Morehead State. In addition, Okafor had three steals and one block versus the Eagles.

She tallied a team-high 19 points and 10 rebounds to help the Lady Tigers win at Eastern Kentucky for the first time since 1990. She was nearly perfect from the free-throw line (8-for-9).
