Adorno DeJesus Named CoSIDA Academic All-District®

NASHVILLE --- Cherlie Adorno DeJesus has been named to the 2017 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District® Volleyball Team. The award recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performance on the court and in the classroom.

Adorno DeJesus is a part of the NCAA Division I – District 3 team, which includes universities in North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. The senior from Toa Baja, Puerto Rico, has a 4.0 GPA majoring in Criminal Justice and was awarded the OVC Academic Medal of Honor, as well as named to the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® Team ballot, with first- and second-team Academic All-America honorees to be announced in December.
