Nashville --- Tennessee State volleyball returned to the court for the third and last practice before the weekend arrives.
Coach Bullock wanted to see her team show a lot more consistency and really compete versus one another. The Tigers finished the day with full drills and delivered exactly what their head coach wanted. The players worked cohesively together to accomplish goals for each drill they were given.
To end practice the team competed in a best of five series with four-on-four drills. The first team to five points would win each set. Despite each team only needing five points to win, each set proved to be long, drawn out battles. The scores of the final two sets reached double-digits because the team's had to win by two points. Team one won the first set 6-4. Team two would not allow the second set to be so easy and lost by a final score of 16-14. Team one went on to win set three as well by a score of 23-21 in a set that was very intense and a back and forth scoring match.
The Tigers will go through two practices on Saturday before they have full team scrimmages Sunday evening.
