Halterman Named OVC Co-Defensive Player of the Week

Nashville, Tenn. - Volleyball senior Madison Halterman was selected as the Ohio Valley Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Week on Monday for her performance this past weekend.  This is the third time this season the senior has received this award.

Over the weekend, the senior tallied a total of 61 digs through just two matches. Halterman led the team through both matches in digs, recording 31 on Friday against Southeast Missouri and another 30 on Saturday against UT Martin.  

Halterman currently leads the OVC with 409 digs on the season, averaging 4.08 digs per set. Halterman also ranks first in the OVC in digs through conference play, collecting 162 through just 10 Ohio Valley matches.
