Why did you choose Tennessee State?
Everyone on the team was very welcoming, not only the team but the students on campus as well; and then a chance to experience a bigger city.
What areas do you feel that you have improved on the court?
I have become a lot quicker in my position as a setter and my defense as improved as well.
What will you do to help Tennessee State volleyball be successful?
I will be there to push one another every single day in practice, in the weight room, and in matches. I will also do the best that I can to be a good leader as a setter to help reach our goals.
How has your summer been preparing for the upcoming season?
It was a long good summer of preparing the mind and the body by taking classes of conditioning, lifting, and running. Also coming in July to work out and play with all the girls before preseason.
What are you looking forward to most this season?
I am looking forward to traveling with the team, and playing every single OVC match this season, especially Morehead State.
What can Tiger fans expect to see from you on the court?
They can expect to see me with excitement and hard work on every point.
What do you do to get ready for a match?
I Pray, listen to my iPod, maybe dance around with the teammates, or keep to myself a few minutes and get focused.
What is your favorite volleyball moment of your career up to this point?
I have had so many great volleyball moments but I would have to say my favorite moment was when I was a junior in high school and we beat our biggest rival in 5 games to win Sectionals to go onto Regionals.
What do you enjoy doing outside of volleyball?
I enjoy watching movies and going to the movies, shopping, going out and having a good time with friends, and traveling.
