Nashville --- The Tennessee State University volleyball team will host the Alumni Volleyball Match on August 28 before officially kicking off the season against Western Kentucky in Kean Hall.
Following the season opener versus Western Kentucky on August 31, the Tigers will face a number
of non-conference opponents. TSU will travel across town to Lipscomb (Sept. 7) as well as participate
in tournaments at Ball State (Sept.3-4) and the University of Memphis
(Sept. 10-11). TSU is slated to match up with opponents Oakland, Robert Morris and host Ball State at the Active Ankle Tournament while facing off against Memphis, Air Force and
La Salle at the Memphis Invitational.
The weekend of September 17-18, TSU will begin conference play by hosting UT Martin and Murray State. The Tigers will continue OVC action on the road at Jacksonville State (Sept. 24) and Tennessee Tech (Sept. 25) before returning to Kean Hall for contests versus Eastern Illinois and Southeast Missouri (Oct.1-2).
On Tuesday, October 5, TSU will face Morehead State on the road before embarking on a three-game home stand against Austin Peay (Oct. 8), Eastern Kentucky (Oct. 15) and Morehead State (Oct. 16).
The Tigers will have a three-game road swing with matches at Murray State (Oct. 22), UT Martin (Oct. 23) and Eastern Kentucky (Oct. 26) before hosting Tennessee Tech and Jacksonville State, Oct.29-30, in the final league home matches of the season.
TSU will conclude conference play with match-ups at Southeast Missouri (Nov.5), Eastern Illinois (Nov.6) and Austin Peay State University (Nov.12) before hosting SIU-Edwardsville on Senior Day, Nov.14.
The Ohio Valley Conference tournament will be held, November 19-23.
