Nashville --- Head coach Kathy Roulhac, along with members of the Tennessee State University volleyball team volunteered at the Preston Taylor Boys & Girls Club/YMCA on Saturday.

The team donated their time and shared insight during the free volleyball clinic held at the club, which is located near the TSU campus on 38th Avenue North.

"Our Starlings Volleyball club had a great time with Coach Kathy and her team!" said Club Director Dantriel McWilliams.  "All of our girls had the opportunity to get hands on experience, fundamentals, and more than enough encouragement this past Saturday."

The clinic was designed to inspire and motivate young ladies from the area that hope to pursue a future in volleyball. The participants ranged from the age of 13-18 and were provided with one-on-one skill instruction while also working on volleyball fundamentals and drills.

"TSU volleyball and the entire TSU athletic department have always allowed members of the Boys and Girls Club/YMCA to have a first class experience," McWilliams added. "Hopefully Coach K saw some great talent she can use in the future to help them win another OVC championship right in the heart of the Nashville community.  Thanks again from the Starlings Nashville Vball Club.  Go BIG BLUE!!!!!!"

Preston Taylor Boys & Girls Club/YMCA Center is located in West Nashville and is one of three Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee in the Nashville area.
