ENDIA OLIVER NAMED TO THE ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM

NASHVILLE---Senior Endia Oliver was named to the All-Tournament team at the War Eagle Invitational hosted by Auburn University following this weekend's action. Oliver, a middle blocker from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, tallied a total of 30 blocks for the tournament and nearly produced double-digits in blocks in all three matches. She recorded a double-double in the Lady Tigers' win over Nicholls State with 12 blocks and 12 kills. With an average of 2.92 bpg, Oliver also had 11 blocks in the five game match-up with Troy. Tennessee State finished the season opening tournament with a record of 1-3. The Lady Tigers defeated Nicholls (3-2) and fell to Troy (2-3) and Auburn (1-3). The Lady Tigers return to action this weekend at the Western Kentucky Tournament. Other schools participating in the tournament include Gardner-Webb, Marshall, and host Western Kentucky. The first game is slated for 7 p.m. on Friday, August 31 versus
