Endia Oliver recorded a game-best 12 blocks (11 assisted) in the match. Christian Lowe posted a game-high 22 kills and 12 digs. Kelly Davis tallied 20 kills and 10 block assists while Collese Dornan added 14 kills. Kamille King had a team-high 15 digs.
TSU fell behind 1-10 in game one but quickly recovered following a timeout to tie the score 12-12. The game would remain close but timely kills helped
The Lady Tigers grabbed a 5-1 lead in game two but
The Lady Tigers carried the momentum from the game two win as they recorded 18 kills and only two errors to take the game 30-19. TSU used an 11-4 run to break open the close game early and pushed the advantage to 12 on a block from Davis and Dornan. The Lady Racers never recovered.
Murray State maintained the advantage for most of game four but TSU battled back and took the lead for good (28-27) on a kill from Lowe. A kill from Dornan and a block from Lowe ended the game and the match.
TSU returns to action tomorrow at UT-Martin. Match time is scheduled for 5 p.m.
