Nashville, Tenn.--- Senior volleyball players Kelly Davis and Endia Oliver were named to the 2007 All-OVC Second Team while junior Christian Lowe earned a spot on the All-OVC Newcomer team.
Kelly Davis, a 5-11 outside hitter from Farrell, Pennsylvania, leads TSU in kills per game with an average of 3.01. Davis has moved into first place on the TSU All-Time Career Leaders in Kills, Attacks, Total Blocks and Block assists. She is currently ranked third in career Digs, and seventh in career Block Solos.
Endia Oliver, a 6-3 opposite side hitter from Milwaukee, Wisconsin leads the OVC in blocks with 1.79 blocks per game. She was third for most of the season, but now ranks second in the nation in blocks. She is ranked third in All-Time Career Total Blocks at TSU. She is also ranked fourth in Block Assists, and fifth in Block Solos.
Christian Lowe, a 6-0 opposite side hitter from San Antonio, Texas, raised her level of play towards the end of the season. She posted 20-plus kills and a double-double in four of the last five matches. She has a total of 12 double-doubles on the season and is third on the team in kills (2.75). She is also third on the team in blocks per game (0.90).
TSU will face Murray State in the first round of the OVC Tournament Thursday, November 15. The match will be streamed live on demand on OVCSports.TV.
