CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo.--- The Tennessee State University volleyball team defeated host Southeast Missouri 3-1 (33-31, 30-27, 29-31, 30-24) Friday night at Houck Stadium. Three players tallied double-doubles as the visiting Lady Tigers improve their overall record to 16-11, 8-3 OVC while the Redhawks drop to 11-15, 5-6 OVC. Senior Erika Godbolt recorded 18 kills and 10 digs while junior Kelly Davis had 10 kills with 10 digs. Senior Tiana Maua dished out 55 assists and put down 10 kills. Junior Endia Oliver produced a match best 15 blocks (five solo, 10 assisted) and junior Katie Lippi had a match-high 20 digs for the Lady Tigers. Junior Collese Dornan and Senior Meesha also fashioned double-digit kill efforts with 16 and 13, respectively. Tennessee State returns to action Saturday, October 28, to face off against Eastern Illinios. Game time is set for 2 p.m.
