NASHVILLE --- The Tennessee State Lady Tigers volleyball team saw its 12-match winning streak come to and end with a three-game loss at cross-town opponent Lipscomb University in non-conference play Tuesday night. The Lady Tigers never got untracked as the host Lady Bisons avenged an early-season loss by taking a 30-25, 30-15, and 30-17 win. TSU falls to 19-9 overall while Lipscomb improves to 12-16. The Lady Tigers did not have a player record double digit kills in the contest. Kara Keifer and Kelley Smith each had eight kills to lead the Lady Tigers who hit .098 as a team. Katrelle Armwood's 12 kills led TSU. Lipscomb hit .294 as a team. Alex Sugg had 11 kills. The match was TSU's final non-conference match of the season. The Lady Tigers will carry an 11-match winning streak into matches on Thursday at Eastern Kentucky and Friday at Morehead State.
