NASHVILLE --- The progress of the Tennessee State volleyball team has gained notice as the team is ranked in the latest I regional rankings. TSU is ranked 12th in the Midwest Region for its performance in the early portion of the season. The Lady Tigers are off to a 10-8 overall and 2-1 Ohio Valley Conference start heading into a Tuesday night road match at Murray State. The Division I Regional Computer Index takes into consideration the Rich Kern Percentage Index (RKPI) of all NCAA Division I teams, then computes each region based on the overall ranking. The RKPI mimics the NCAA RPI published at the end of the season. The Lady Tigers and Eastern Kentucky (second) are the lone OVC members to be ranked in the region. Midwest Region (Overall RKPI) 1.
