Payton Aragon Miller is a certified and licensed athletic trainer and an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist who brings a comprehensive, athlete-centered approach to sports medicine and performance care.
Aragon Miller earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Movement Science from Missouri State University in 2021 before completing her Master of Science in Athletic Training at University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2024.
Since 2024, Aragon Miller has served as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Tennessee State University, working primarily with the volleyball and women’s basketball programs. Alongside her clinical responsibilities, she serves as a preceptor for undergraduate athletic training students, helping guide their hands-on education and professional development. She is an active member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) and has experience in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and return-to-play management.
Born in Germany and raised in a military family, Aragon Miller developed adaptability and cultural awareness through frequent relocations, shaping her ability to connect with diverse student-athlete populations. She maintains a strong interest in mentorship, the advancement of women in sports medicine, and long-term athlete development.
Outside of athletics, Aragon Miller enjoys running, playing pickleball, and spending time with her spouse, Jerod, whom she married in March 2025.
