Nicole Fougerousse joins the Tennessee State staff and work predominately with the pitchers and catchers.
Fougerousse comes to TSU after spending five seasons as the head coach at Bloomfield High School in Bloomfield, Ind. In her tenure at BHS, Fougerousse amassed a 63-45 record and a IHSAA 1A Sectional championship in 2015.
Fougerousse began her high school coaching career as an assistant of Linton High School’s 2010 Indiana 2A State Runner-Up Championship squad, which finished the year at 22-1.
In 2006, Fougerousse started a not-for-profit organization known as the Clovers, which was the first travel softball program in Greene County, Indiana. Throughout the life of the organization she coached 10U through 16U teams.
A 2008 graduate of Indiana State University with a degree in Insurance and Risk Management, where she spent time as a member of the Sycamores softball program. She earned a Transition to Teaching License from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2013.
