The Tigers will take a break from Ohio Valley Conference play to travel to Knoxville to take on No. 7 Tennessee in a single game on Tuesday evening. The contest is the fourth game in the midst of an 11-game road trip for TSU. The Tigers are looking to snap a 15 game slide and will have its work cut out for them taking on the nationally ranked Lady Vols. Tennessee State dropped a pair of OVC games at Morehead State on Saturday, including a 2-1 heartbreaker in game two. Tassy Lyles led the squad on the day going 3-for-4 with a walk, a sacrifice and a double on the day. Lyles now leads the team hitting at a .296 clip.
