Tennessee State dropped all five games at the Chattanooga Challenge. TSU a pair of games to Western Kentucky, two games to Indiana State and a single game to the host Mocs. Senior Kasey Cox continued her hot hitting with four hits on the weekend, including two doubles and a triple. Cox now has four doubles on the season and is batting .318. Erica O'Kane belted two home runs on the weekend, while Maddison Clark bashed her first collegiate round-tripper.

CSU is riding the hot bats of Macy Kaisk, Riley Reis and Mel Woodard to start the season. Kaisk tops the threat with a .455 batting average (10-for-22), four runs, three doubles, two home runs and seven RBI. Ries is hitting at a .429 (9-for-21) clip with four runs scored, three doubles, two home runs and team leading 12 RBI. Woodard, like Ries, is batting .429 (9-for-21) with four runs, a double, a triple and three runs batted in. Seven pitchers have taken the circle for the Vikings, with Mackenzie Joecken and Alicia Major teaming for just under half of the innings. Joecken is 4-0 with a 2.00 ERA and 15 strikeouts in 14.0 innings of work. Major has added 13.1 with a 4.72 ERA and a save.
Fort Wayne (4-6)

Bailey Benefiel is leading the Mastadons in the circle as she has posted a 3-1 record with a 0.54 ERA, one save, one shutout and has combined for another. Benefeil has tossed 33.0 innings and has fanned 24 batters, while holding opponents to a .182 batting average. Offensively, Stephanie Hanic has collected 10 hits in 31 at bats for a .323 average. Hanic has crossed home plate four times and has two doubles, a home run and tops the squad with seven RBI. Payton Hollis has a team best four doubles while batting .286 (8-for-28). Despite hitting just .207, Lauren Watson has been a threat by recording team highs in runs (7) and walks (7). The free base on balls has helped Watson to post a .361 on base percentage, just behind Hollis who sits at .375.
North Dakota (3-7)

The Fighting Hawks are led by a trio of 300-plus hitters. Angel Love is 11-for-29, batting .379 with seven runs, a double, two triples, two home runs, six RBI and a team high six stolen bases. Kaylin VanDomelen provides support going 10-for-29 (.345) to the start the season. VanDomelen has collected two doubles, a triple and tops UND with eight runs, six walks and a .472 OBP. Taylor Nadler is 10-for-29, hitting .345, with five runs, two doubles, a home run and leads the Fighting Hawks with 10 RBI. In the circle, VanDomelen has taken the ball for six starts and is 1-4 with a 5.55 ERA in 29.0 innings pitched. The redshirt-senior has fanned 31 batters this season. Hannah Bergh comes into the weekend at 2-3 with a 5.75 ERA and has struck out 14 opposed to seven walks in 24.1 innings of work.
