Tigers (11-29, 1-11): Tennessee State snapped an eight game skid with a doubleheader sweep of Alabama A&M on Wednesday. The Tigers came from behind to earn a 2-1, eight inning victory in game one and completed the sweep with a 7-0 victory in the nightcap. Due to heavy rains in the forecast for Saturday, the Tigers and the Racers will now meet on Tuesday at 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. The twin bill set for Sunday in Clarksville has been been moved to Wednesday with first pitch set for 4:00 p.m. The orginially scheduled game at Middle Tennessee on Apr. 26 has been cancelled due to the conference schedule changes.

Danielle Liermann leads the Govs with a .323 average, nine double, 32 runs batted in and shares the top spot in home runs (9) with Carly Mattson, who is hitting .304. Mattson has added five doubles, 20 RBI and 20 runs scored. Kacy Acree is batting .306 and is the pace setter for APSU with 28 runs, four triples, 15 stolen bases and adds seven doubles, seven home runs and 20 RBI to the offensive cause. Fellow sophomore Kendall Vedder gives the Govs a fourth threat at the plate, driving in 20 runs, while hitting .272 with 18 runs, seven doubles and six home runs. In the circle, Autumn Hanners has tossed 103.2 innings and has earned a 3.24 ERA, while posting a 6-10 record and a save. Kelsey Gross has worked 89.1 innings and is 7-8 with a 6.35 ERA and 69 strikeouts.
