2016 Record: 16-33

Claire Wernig led the Redhawks at the plate with a .320 average while scoring a team best 20 runs. Wernig also collected nine doubles, a home run and 13 stolen bases as she looks to pace an offense that lost over half of last season’s lineup. Riley Hayes will offer veteran support after finishing third on the team with a .289 average and five doubles in 90 at bats. The Redhawks enter the season with its pitching staff pretty much intact from a year ago. SEMO returns four of its five hurlers which threw 306 of the 313.2 total innings in 2016.
