The Tigers will return to action this weekend at Eastern Kentucky for a three-game series.

Game One

After going through the first three frames without a score, Austin Peay took a 2-0 lead behind a two-run homer by Amy Mills in the fourth.

In the bottom of the half, Caitlin Eaton got on base with a double to right center. She cut the APSU lead down to, 2-1, when she scored on a hit up the middle by Christy Hill.

The Tigers took the lead in the next inning when Brittany Webb singled up the middle to score Tamara Perkins and Tedra Alford. TSU upped the advantage to 4-2 when Jalisa Bradley crossed the plate on Eaton's second hit of the inning.

TSU added an insurance run in the sixth inning to make the score 5-2 after Bridget Metzger scored on a wild pitch.

Game Two

Austin Peay grabbed a 1-0 lead in the second and built the advantage up to 4-0 in the fourth behind a three-run, four hit inning.

TSU rallied in the bottom of the fourth and narrowed the gap to, 4-2, when Christy Hill smacked one up the middle to plate Brittany Webb and Caitlin Eaton. The Tigers added another run when Tedra Alford drove in Christy Hill.

The Tiger rally continued in the fifth when Brittany Webb drove Jalisa Bradley in to knot the game, 4-4.

In the bottom of the 7th, with the game tied, Jalisa Bradley reached first after being hit by a pitch. A few moments later, APSU centerfielder, Catie Cozart made a diving and potentially game saving catch to take away what seemed to be a sure double for Brittany Webb.

Austin Peay took a 5-4 lead in the top of the 10th when Catie Cozart drove in Amy Mills from second base.

In TSU's half of the frame, Katie Jordan moved to third on a sacrifice bunt by Christy Hill but the next two batters grounded out as APSU was able to hold on for the win.
