Caitlin Eaton (Baltic Connecticut/The Norwich Free Academy) is a pitcher/infielder that started this school year as a freshman at Parkland Community College, located in Champaign, Illinois. Eaton signed with Tennessee State University in November and will be joining the Tigers in January of 2008. She is a 2004, 2005, 2007 1st Team All-State Selection, All-Area pitcher, and All-Eastern Connecticut 1st Team selection for Norwich Free Academy. As a senior, she led her team in almost every offensive category with a .573 batting average and 35 RBIs. Eaton also set single season pitching records with the lowest ERA (0.26) and the most strikeouts (251).

“Caitlin is a welcome addition to the 2008 Tiger roster. She will add depth to a Tiger’s pitching staff that finished with the best ERA in the OVC in 2007," said Head Coach Joyce Maudie. “Caitlin is a very talented athlete with a promising future ahead of her.”

She is the daughter of Sam and Penny Eaton.
