Junior pitcher Amanda Vaught led the team in the circle holding the Hornets to two hits and surrendering just two walks. Vaught (2-0) set a new single game record for TSU striking out 17 batters in her first complete game shutout. Junior Jennifer Gregory led the way offensively going 2-for-3 with a walk and two triples.
