OSCEOLA, Fla. --- Tennessee State dropped a pair of games in its second day of play in the Rebel Spring Games on Monday night, losing to Valparaiso 4-2 and Yale, 6-1. Four errors were costly to the Lady Tigers in the loss to Valpo. TSU pitcher Candace Hildebrand was 2-for-3 with RBI hit in TSU's secnd and seventh innings. Nira Robbins and Emily Samana each had doubles for the TSU as three of the team's five hits were for extra bases. In the game against the Ivy League Bulldogs, TSU managed four hits in suffering the five run loss as Yale put the game away late with a three-run sixth inning. Erin Finneran had a pair of hits and scored TSU's lone run in the second inning on Samana's triple. TSU (6-8) will play Saint Peter's and Robert Morris in Tuesday night games.
