THREE TSU SOFTBALL PLAYERS EARNALL-TOURNAMENT AT MISSISSIPPI STATE

STARKVILLE, Miss. --- Three Tennessee State softball players were named to the all-tournament team for their performances in the Mississippi State Bulldogs Classic over the weekend. Senior shortstop Nira Robbins, senior second baseman Heather Ebersole, and freshman pitcher Samantha Hurst were all honored with selection to the 12-player team. Robbins was 6-for-14 in the tournament with a RBI and had a triple for the winning run in a 1-0 win over Easter Tennessee State. Ebersole was 5-13 and had a game-tying hit that sent the Tigers into an extra winning game against East Tennessee, that the Tiger won. Hurst pitched eight total innings, allowing just two runs and picked up a win and a save in the Tigers two victories.
