Mark Hickman

Mark has volunteered with the Tennessee State University tennis program for the last 17 years serving as a valued advisor to former Head Coach Gerald Robinson and current Head Coach Monroe Walker III. As a Volunteer Coach, Mark was an integral part of the tennis program's first win in the Ohio Valley Conference tournament in 2002. Mark is certified with the Professional Tennis registry (PTR) as a teaching professional and has conducted training sessions across the United States and abroad.
While serving as team captain for Tennessee State from 1996-1999, Mark was successful in leading his team to numerous victories. Mark graduated from Tennessee State with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1999 and a Master of Business Administration in 2005.
Mark currently works in Nashville, TN at HCA Healthcare, Inc. as the Vice President of Compensation.  In addition, Mark serves on several advisory councils and boards in the field of compensation.
In Mark's spare time he remains active in the Nashville tennis community by serving as the Vice President of the Hadley Park Tennis Club and enjoys spending time with friends and family.
