14 TSU Student-Athletes Earn OVC Academic Medal of Honor for 4.0 GPA

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. --- A total of 14 Tennessee State University student-athletes received Ohio Valley Conference Academic Medal of Honor accolades on Thursday for earning 4.0 grade point averages during the 2015-16 academic year.

The OVC Academic Medal of Honor is given annually to the student-athletes who achieve the highest grade point average in a Conference-sponsored sport. Every Academic Medal of Honor recipient for the 2015-16 academic year carried a perfect 4.0 grade point average.

In total, 245 student-athletes from around the Ohio Valley Conference were honored with Academic Medals of Honor.
