NASHVILLE, Tenn. - An action-packed week is in store for Tiger fans This Week in TSU Athletics. Track and Field as well as men's basketball compete at home this week, while volleyball, women's basketball and football are all on the road.
The men's basketball team takes on Ohio University on the road tonight before returning to Nashville to battle cross-town opponent Fisk at the Gentry Center on Wednesday at 7 p.m. The Tigers will complete the week with a showdown versus Middle Tennessee at home on Saturday at 7 p.m.
The track and field teams will host their annual Blue and White meet at the Gentry Center on Thursday evening to mark the unofficial start to the indoor season.
Volleyball heads to postseason play with the OVC Tournament in Murray, Ky. this week. The Tigers square off with Eastern Kentucky in the first round on Thursday, Nov. 19 at 4:30 p.m. A win would send the Tigers to the OVC Semifinals on Friday with the Championship match scheduled for Saturday at 7 p.m.
Continuing action in the Preseason WNIT, the women's basketball squad heads to Carbondale, Ill. to face Alabama State on Friday, Nov. 20 before taking on either Southern Illinois or Siena the following day.
The TSU football team is set to conclude the 2015 season with a road game at Tennessee Tech on Saturday, Nov. 21. The game will air live on the American Sports Network.
