Tennis Hosts Murray State

Nashville, Tenn. – The Tennessee State University tennis teams will host Murray State in conference play at the TSU Tennis Complex, Thursday, March 12th, with a 12 p.m. start time.

The men and women squads are both coming off a 7-0 conference loss to Morehead State on March 10 and posts an overall 0-2 record, 0-1 in Ohio Valley Conference play.

For the men, three Tigers post 1-1 record on the season. Justin Hamm, Aaron Fields and Michael Mosley lead TSU respectively. The team of Hamm and Fields lead the Tigers in doubles competition with a 1-1 record. TSU on the season is 3-9 in singles and 1-5 in doubles.

The women's squad has posted a 2-10 singles record and 0-5 doubles mark and are led by Meagan Hanley (0-2) and Dania Lofton (1-1).

The Murray State Racers come in facing their first conference team of the season with both men and women teams coming off a win against SIU-Edwardsville. The women's team are 5-2 overall and are led by Anne Pennington. The men's team is 2-5 and are powered by the doubles tandem of Luka Milicevic and Renaldo Domoney.

Next, the Tigers will head to Martin, Tenn. to face the Skyhawks of UT Martin. Match time is set for Sunday, March 15, at 1 p.m.
