NASHVILLE--- Tennessee State University Athletic Director Teresa Phillips will speak at Cameron Middle School's Career Day on Tuesday, March 13. Ms. Phillips participation in Career Day is one of many community service projects that the Tennessee State University student-athletes, coaches, and administrators have been involved in. On February 16th, players and coaches from the TSU volleyball team attended the West End Middle School Annual Career Awareness Day. On Wednesday, February 28th, Head women's track coach Chandra Cheeseborough, Tigerbelle Kathy Onwu, and football player Brandon Jackson attended the Bailey Middle School-Black History Program. Brandon served as the program's Master of Ceremony while Coach Cheeseborough and Kathy gave the student's a Black History lesson about the Tennessee State University Tigerbelles. A group of student-athletes participated in the annual "Dr. Seuss Day" held at the Robert E. Lillard Elementary Design Center on Friday, March 2nd. The student-athletes read to students from Kindergarten to the Fourth grade.
