NASHVILLE --- The Second Annual Iron Tigers Lift-A-Thon at Tennessee State University concluded with several Tiger athletes posting impressive lifts during the competition. The event served as a fund raiser for the TSU student-athletes. Athletes gathered pledges from family, friends, and TSU faculty and staff. Athletes competed in four categories, the male big skill, male small skill, female big skill, and the female small skill. The student-athletes competed in the power clean, bench press, and squat lifts. To qualify as an outstanding lifter, each athlete had to compete in at least two lifts.
