ATLANTA --- R’Lazon Brumfield earned a second-place finish in the long jump on Friday to highlight day one action for the Tennessee State men’s track and field team at the Georgia Tech Invitational.
- Brumfield’s second-place long jump distance of 7.17m (23’6.25”) came on his second attempt on the day.
- Securing sixth place in the 110m hurdles on Friday was Jemarruse Amos with a personal record time of 14.50. Isaiah Olige also turned in one of his best 110m hurdles time of the season, clocking in at 14.63.
- Jordan Thomas finished the 100m in 11.16 as TSU’s top finisher in the event.
- The Georgia Tech Invitational at the George C. Griffin Track concludes tomorrow.
