STARTING LINE: TSU heads to Memphis, Tenn. for the Memphis Invitational on Saturday, April 30. The meet is the final action prior to the Ohio Valley Conference Outdoor Championship on May 13-14.

THE SCHEDULE: Field events will begin at 10 a.m. followed by the track events at noon.
LAST TIME OUT: At last weekend’s Georgia Tech Invite, Quamel Prince (Nashville, Tenn.) won the 800m with a time of 1:49.42. The Flying Tigers’ effort was also highlighted by Kyle Washington-Scott (St. Louis, Mo.), who finished third in the shot put with a distance of 16.70m (54’9.5”), and Jason Griffin (Gallatin, Tenn.), who turned in the OVC’s top times in the 110m hurdles (14.69) and the 400m hurdles (53.22).
OVC RANKINGS: With just over two weeks left until the Ohio Valley Conference Outdoor Championship, the Flying Tigers have turned in a number of performances that rank near the top of the OVC this outdoor season.
