GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Tennessee State track and field teams continued its outdoor season by competing against some of the best squads in the nation in the prestigious Pepsi Florida Relays.
Amber Hughes had a fine showing, placing 31st in the 100 meter hurdles (13.92). Freshman Kalya Pryor also finished 36th in the 400 meter hurdles (1:01.28).
In the relays, The Tigerbelles had the 11th fastest time in the 4x400 meter (4:02.93).
Angel Davis rounded out the event for TSU by coming in eighth in the discus with a 45.95 meter toss.
For the Flying Tigers, Quamel Prince had a 14th place showing in the 800 meter dash after a run of 1:48.73.
In the field events, Daryl Rice had the eighth tallest leap in the high jump with a hop of 2.01 meters.

The TSU teams will next compete in their only home meet of the season in the Boston/Moon Relays this weekend.
