Army Lends a Helping Hand to TSU Track

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee State Athletic Department continued its effort of including the community in every facet by hosting recruiters and members of the US Army during the Boston/Moon Relays.

The Army volunteered by setting up the events including placing hurdles and assisting with the jumping pits. They also manned recruitment tables and gave out prizes to the Big Blue fans in attendance.

Head Coach Chandra Cheeseborough was presented a certificate thanking her for her support of the US Army.

The Tennessee State track and field teams will next travel to SIUE for the 2014 OVC Outdoor Championship on May 2-3.
