The meet will take place in lieu of several conferences holding their Championships in the upcoming weeks. Field events begin at 10 a.m., with the track events slated to begin at 6 p.m. Both are on a rolling schedule.
Dates is currently the only team member to qualify for this year's Regional Championship. In his first year on the squad, the freshman recorded a career jump at the Boston-Moon Classic in April. His mark of 24"8.5 (7.53m) ranks 45th in the nation and 26th in the region.
Combest and Rideout are still on the bubble to qualify and will look to improve their chances in their respective events. Both posted their personal best at the OVC Championship in early May. Combest tacked on a career mark of 2.08m (6"9.75) in the high jump and Rideout notched his PR in the 400m at 47.51s.
In their last time on the track, all three placed in the top three in their events. Combest recorded TSU's only individual win in an event, winning the high jump, Rideout crossed the line in the 400m finals in second, and Dates finished third in the long jump with a leap of 23"08.0 (7.21m).
