Last season at the War Hawk Invitational,TSU returned to head coach Kelly Carter's alma mater, then freshmen, Nathaniel Moore and Michael Rideout, delivered one of their top performances in the 400m. Moore clocked in 48.54 and Rideout followed behind at 48.62.

The Flying Tigers are coming off stellar performances after hosting the 8th Annual Boston-Moon Classic. Rideout picked up first place and still remains undefeated in the 400m running a time of 48.38 seconds.

In addition, Rideout returned to help lead the 4x400m relay team to first in a dramatic race to close out the meet. The Flying Tigers used splits from Phillip Myton (49.2 secs), Julian Mallory (48.4 secs), Johnnie Poole (50.9 secs) and Rideout (48.4 secs) to register a time of 3:17.82. Mallory spotlighted TSU in the short sprints running career times in the 100m (5th - 10.92 secs) and 200m (4th - 21.89 secs).

Next on the schedule and depending on current times, the Flying Tigers are slated to compete at the Penn Relays in Philadelphia, Pa. on April 24.
