Beal, Britt and Moore finish in the top-three

Nashville,Tenn. – The Tennessee State University men's track and field capped off the Valentine's Invitational hosted by Middle Tennessee State with four top-three performances. It was the Tigers' third indoor competition on the campus of MTSU this season.

Darreal Beal, Trenton Britt, and Nathaniel Moore took third place in their individual events while the 1600-meter relay team finished second.

Beal posted a mark of 22'08.50" in the long jump and Britt leaped 47'00" in the triple jump for their honors. Moore ran a time of 49.65 seconds for his third top-three performance of the season. With the liong distance team running the legs, the 1600-meter relay team finished second with a time of 3:25.77.

Next, the Flying Tigers will have another open week before competing in the Ohio Valley Conference Indoor Track and Field Championship on February 27-28th in Charleston, Ill.
