Boston-Moon Classic Leads to Six Top Finishes for Tigers

Nashville, Tenn. – The Flying Tigers took home first place in the 4x400-meter relay and captured five top-three awards in the final day of the 7th Annual Boston-Moon Track and Field Classic at the Edward S. Temple Track on Saturday in Nashville, Tenn.

 

The Tennessee State University men’s track and field team picked up the win in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:15.87. The team of Phillip Myton, Michael Rideout, Isaiah Marshall, and Nathaniel Moore posted their fastest time of the season in the event.

 

Rideout placed second in the 400-meter dash running 49.38 seconds. In the 800-meter dash, Anes Koko finished second with a 1:56.51 clocking with Marshall following in at third posting a 1:56.91.

 

Xavier Walton grabbed second in the long jump with a leap of 23’ 02.75” with teammate Adrien Hill finishing third with a mark of 22’ 05.00”.

 

Next, the Tigers will travel to Bowling Green, Ky. to compete in the WKU Invitational hosted by Western Kentucky on Saturday April 25th.
