Britt and Moore Finish First for the Second Time this Season

Murfreesboro, Tenn. - The Tennessee State men's track team competed in the Blue Raider Invitational hosted by Middle Tennessee State taking first place in three events while finshing in the top three in two others.

Trenton Britt and Nathaniel Moore took first place overall in their individual events for the second time in three competitions on the season.

Britt won the triple jump with a mark of 46'09.25" while Moore ran his fastest time of the season in the 400-meter dash with a 49.08 second clocking to win the event. Moore also competed in the 200-meter dash placing fourth with a time of 22.52 seconds.

The 1600-meter relay team of Kendre Streeter, Nathaniel Moore, Franz Holmes, Isaiah Marshall capped of the meet winning the event with a time of 3:24.21.

Two other Flying Tigers placed in the top three in their events. Darreal Beal placed second in the long jump with a season best leap of 23'10.50. In the men's weight throw, Andre Kelly placed third with a season best throw of 38'10.00".

Anes Koko led the mid-distance runners collecting a fourth-place finish in the 800-meter dash with his fastest clocking of the season, 1:57.55.

The Flying Tigers will compete in the TSU Invite on Jan. 31 on the Wilma Rudolph Indoor Track inside the Gentry Center.
