TIGERS' CHRIS HOWELL QUALIFIES FOR NCAA 200M

Flying Tigers' sprinter Chris Howell, qualified for the NCAA Regional's in the 200m at the Vanderbilt Invitational track meet on Saturday, April 21, 2007. Howell, a senior sprinter from Southfield, MI, won his heat with a 21.06 clocking. The 2007 NCAA standard for the 200m is 21.19. Chris's clocking puts him on top of the Ohio Valley Conference "Bests" list for the season. He also ran a leg on the 4x100m relay team which clocked another OVC Best for the season with a time of 41.06, just short of the NCAA standard of 40.66.
