Tennessee State Finishes 10th in Belmont Opener in X-Country Nashville, TN The Tennessee State Flying Tiger's finished 10th in the Belmont Opener at Percey Warner Park Cross Country meet last week. The host Belmont won the meet with 23 points followed by Vanderbilt with 34, and Western Kentucky came in third with 41 points. Belmont'sColin Magut came in first with a time of 15:01.09 and teammate Ryan Snellen came in 2nd place with a time of 15:07.42. TSU had Chris Howell take 88th (20:37.67), Franz Holmes took 89th place (21:11.12), Bryan Johnson 92nd (21:32.59), Charles Parker 93rd (21:35.78) and Kyle Waters 94th (21:48.05). The order of Finish:1. Belmont-23, 2. Vanderbilt-34, 3. Western Kentucky-41, 4.Georgia Tech-30, 5. Austin Peay-45, 6. Lipscomb-43, 7. Alabama State-55, 8. Murray State-63, 9.
